Came here with my husband (who I haven’t seen in 8 months due to military) when he finally got back to being within driving distance last weekend. We were looking for a good brunch place and this came up. It was AMAZING. Service was absolutely fantastic, food was delish, and the outside patio was *chefs kiss*. Lots of cute photo opportunities, and was also relatively peaceful for a Saturday morning. I got the pancakes which were sooo yummy but bigger than my face with a latte, husband got the steak and potatoes, and we also shared the gator bites. Everything tasted amazing! Our server was so kind to explain the menu and checked back with us regularly but not too much either. On the pricier side but absolutely worth it. Contemplating coming back when I drive back down to see the husband next weekend.

Tried the Lazy Oak Bistreaux for the first time today - in short it was excellent. Since it's a brunch place and it was 11am on a Saturday.... we were pleased to be seated right away - Our server was awesome, there when you needed her and not when you didn't, she was helpful explaining some menu items and quite courteous. The menu is creative and fun and the food was served promptly and was delicious! I had the waffles with southern fried chicken / bacon / over-easy egg / pepper jack cheese and maple syrup - YUMMY! My wife had the omelet with soft shell crab - she loved it. And it has a nice cozy atmosphere - pretty perfecto! We'll be back!!

10/10 Food was incredible and very large portions. Gotta try the Loaded Bloody Mary, the Port Omelet and The Prese! Two people could honestly split one omelet due to the portion size! Must try!

Food was amazing! Our server was phenomenal, she was very knowledgeable about items on the menu. She even gave some suggestions about other places to check out while we were in town. We will definitely be back if we are in the area. The Bloody Mary was also great!

Came down from Texas in October for my 10th anniversary and wanted to surprise my wife with a renewal of our vowels and wanted to have the celebration in the same spot we got married at. Yes it was vals at the time and yes it was a bar, but we only used the bar for food and drinks. We got married on the deck outside in front of the fire place. It was beautiful. Fast forward 10 years later I got to planning. Called the lazy oak and told them the situation and they were more than accommodating. It was so wonderful and the staff were all so nice! The food was Excellent!! Thank yall so much for making that night so special for my wife!

Second time experience and it was just as amazing as the first! They were so busy which is a great sign. Our waitress, Ashley (shout out) was amazing and checked on us frequently. Highly recommend The Port dish! The price definitely matches the portions because most dishes could be shared or result in leftovers! New favorite place!

Ashley was a great waitress despite having at least 6 tables including ours! She was fast, efficient and kind! Food was delicious! I highly recommend their homemade biscuits! The confetti pancakes were yummy! We each had a porter platter which left us with lots of leftovers! Might be my new weekend brunch spot from now on!

Came to have brunch with my bestie and see our favorite server. We had a relaxed and great time. Seating area outside is spacious. Great options for picky eaters such as myself and serving sizes are, in my opinion, massive! I ordered the Port Omelette, and wow! We shared the Bourbon Street Beignets and they were delicious. Mimosas were beautiful and tasted great! Presentation is lovely and the gold cutlery is a nice touch.
